Painting Needlepoint Canvas

We use oil paints to paint the design onto canvas - lots of delicate shading is involved. Some use acryilic paint - which dries quicker - yet we prefer the natural qualities in the oil paints themselves and stay away from plastics.

We match the paints and threads carefully under natural lighting - preferably a foggy day - as the colors are actually truer.

The completed hand-painted design is seen above.
